Greyhound Bus Service, Langley BC to Kamloops BC


We bought two seniors tickets from Langley BC to Kamloops BC for the 10:30 a.m. bus. We arrived at the depot an hour early as requested, checked in and proceeded to wait for our bus. At 10:30 another bus arrived to pick up passengers travelling to the Okanagan and we were assured that our bus was right behind it and would be arriving within 10 minutes. By now there were about 25 people in line. At 11:15 we were told our bus was enroute and would arrive within 15 minutes. To make a long story short - a charter bus finally arrived at 1 p.m. - 2 1/2 hours late. There were no explanations given, even when asked directly of the attendant at the depot. We think they overbooked our bus in Vancouver and it went right by Langley. If they had told us that they were having to bring a charter in and it would take a while we could have walked 5 minutes into town and had breakfast - but they kept saying it was almost at the depot. The Langley depot is disgusting - no coffee, only junk food and drink and the washrooms stank something awful. We were 3 hours late getting into Kamloops, despite there being good conditions on the highway. We paid $100 for these two tickets and were not even given an apology - terrible service!!!
